Traveller Content & UGC Policy

Real stories, shared with permission.

Last updated: 26 October 2026   /   India travel   /

01Purpose and current video section

AWARA’s traveller content section is intended for genuine travel clips, room tours, destination moments and accounts from people who have permission to share them. Any slots labelled “Traveller videos coming soon” are placeholders, not customer reviews or evidence that a particular person travelled with AWARA. Photographs used for layout or destination inspiration do not become testimonials by appearing in a video slot. When real clips are added, their captions and presentation should distinguish the trip, destination and any relevant commercial relationship clearly.

02Who can submit content

You may offer a clip you created or are authorised to share. You must be an adult, or have the necessary parent or guardian involvement where a child’s content or appearance is concerned. Obtain appropriate permission from recognisable people whose image, voice, name or private information appears in a submission. Do not submit footage taken in a prohibited area or against an operator’s rules. Owning the video file does not automatically mean you hold rights to every song, photograph, logo or person shown within it.

03Permission is agreed before publication

Sending a travel enquiry does not give AWARA permission to publish your photograph, conversation or video. Before using submitted traveller content, we should agree the intended channel, purpose, identity or credit, any payment or benefit, permitted edits and the scope of the licence. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, you retain ownership of your original work. A publication permission should be non-exclusive and limited to the uses actually agreed, rather than an automatic assignment of all rights forever or permission to use unrelated private material.

04Editing, captions and authenticity

Routine editing may include trimming, formatting, subtitles, sound adjustments and accessibility improvements within the agreed permission. An edit must not materially misrepresent a traveller’s experience, fabricate a booking, change an opinion into an endorsement or imply a guarantee the speaker did not give. Captions should not convert destination inspiration into a claim that a specific package includes every scene. AI-generated people, staged endorsements and unrelated travel footage must not be passed off as genuine AWARA customer experiences. A clear label is required when context would otherwise mislead a viewer.

05Sponsored trips, incentives and independent views

If a traveller received money, a free trip, a discount or another benefit in connection with creating content, the relevant relationship should be disclosed clearly in the published context. Incentives must not require a false positive opinion. Honest criticism should not be edited out in a way that reverses the overall meaning of a review. A content appearance is not a promise that every future customer will have the same itinerary, weather, outcome or price. Claims about facilities, savings or results need appropriate support beyond the existence of an attractive video.

06Privacy, dignity and restricted information

Do not share identity documents, boarding passes with usable codes, room keys, payment information, private contact details or live location information that creates unnecessary risk. Avoid revealing another traveller’s medical condition or private circumstances. Respect the dignity and consent of local people, staff and fellow guests, particularly children. We may decline, request changes to or remove content that appears unsafe, unlawful, misleading, infringing or inconsistent with the agreed permission. Moderation should not be used to manufacture a misleading impression that no genuine concern has ever been raised.

07Hosting, third parties and removal requests

Published clips may be hosted on a selected video or file service, and viewing them can involve that provider’s technical requests and policies. Published traveller videos are served from AWARA’s hosted media storage. Unpublished drafts are restricted to the authenticated administrator. Video requests may load metadata before playback; playback uses your device’s data connection. If you want to discuss a clip you submitted, raise a rights concern or request removal from a channel AWARA controls, email support@awaratravells.in with the page link, a description of the content and your relationship to it. Provide proportionate evidence if needed; do not send unnecessary identity scans. We will assess the request and applicable rights.

08Limits, bookings and contact

Removing content from an AWARA-controlled page may not instantly remove independent reposts, search caches or copies legitimately created under a separate agreement. We will explain any practical or lawful limitation instead of promising an impossible recall of all internet copies. A video submission does not itself book a trip, earn a discount or create a paid creator contract. Any reward or commercial work must be agreed separately. For content permissions, complaints or approved video files, contact support@awaratravells.in or +91 7439434345 and identify the relevant trip or proposed use.
